We spent the evening with the Kendra Scott team, raising funds in support of the Wichita Police Department. The Kendra Gives Back Party was a wonderful opportunity to share our mission and vision with the community.

WPF partnered with Wichita Running Company and local coffee shop, Sente Games and Refreshments for the 5th Annual Battle of the Bean 5K! Participants ran for team Coffee or Team Cocoa. All participants received a long sleeve t-shirt and a custom Battle of the Bean mug. At the finish line Sente Games and Refreshments provided delicious coffee and hot cocoa to participants! Wichita Police Foundation received a portion of event proceeds for staffing the race with volunteers.

Thank you to Sente Games and Refreshments for sponsoring the coffee and hot cocoa for all race participants!

Engaging our community. Supporting our officers. Strengthening Wichita.

The Wichita Police Foundation, in partnership with the Wichita Wingnuts, hosted First Responders Appreciation Night at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on August 15, 2018. The community event kicked off with Touch a Truck, face painting, and a mascot mingle. Six different first responder agencies participated in the Touch a Truck, with more than a dozen first responder vehicles on display. Other displays included simulator, DUI processing center, and police drones. During the pre-game ceremonies, first responders from four participating agencies threw out the first pitch. All eyes were on the police drone as it flew into the stadium to deliver the game ball.
