WPD Mounted Patrol
The Mounted Unit is composed of commission members of the Wichita Police Department. They are activated by special order, often in Old Town, to assist with crowd control.

Shop With A Cop 2024
A community-police program bridging the gap between our officers and the community they serve.

WPD E-Bikes
Every new electric bikes will enable the WPD to increase positive connections between Wichita’s police officers and citizens and assist in combating crime.

WPD Random Acts of Kindness
Beyond the call to protect and serve – our officers show random acts of kindness for families in need throughout the entire year.

WPD Autism Sensory Kits
To increase the safety of officers and the community, a tool kit is provided in each of the patrol cars for non verbal persons to hep communicate more effectively.

WFD Regional Training Center
Training for fie behavior. With recruitment classes, Truck Academy, drill cycles and scheduled station training they need 7/16” plywood and consumables.

WFD EKG Replacement
Two EKG Machines expire this upcoming year. Replacements for the Stryker-Physio Control LifePak 15 V4 Monitor/Defibrillator are needed.
